Helping others and making the world a better place is the responsibility of every company. SA takes pride in being a good corporate citizen and helping people who are in need. Throughout the year, the employees of SA volunteer their time and resources to help a number of charitable organizations. Below is a brief summary of charitable functions that SA has been involved with.
- Each year, SA purchases and distributes Christmas gifts to needy families in the Atlanta, Georgia area in conjunction with the Family Ties Organization
- Employees routinely perform Habitat for Humanity volunteer work
- A primary sponsor of the Extreme Home Makeover show during the 2007 session providing products and services for seven episodes
- Routinely contributes to various community group projects as well as sponsors employees with supporting their own charitable efforts
